Theme Planning
The Galloway Community Charter School is characterized by interdisciplinary, thematic, instruction. Teachers are expected to connect the disciplines through the four themes: Arts/Humanities, Technology, International Studies, and Environmental Studies. Each theme encompasses a ten week block of time. At the end of each ten weeks, a celebration is held to showcase the exploration of our students within the theme. |

The curriculum creates a ladder within each of the four themes. The information taught within each theme is built upon as the student completes each year at GCCS. A copy of the curriculum outline for each* of the themes is provided here. |
