The GCCS encourages community participation in the education of our students and is a member of the Galloway Business Association. The following organizations support our mission:
The Atlantic County Library provides book borrowing services for our students. The Book Mobile visits the charter school every other Tuesday.
Commerce Bank sponsors our Eighth grade class by purchasing classroom resources.
The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services presents Project Safe, a program that educates youth about services available to for runaways, abuse victims, or students in crisis.
Rutgers Cooperative Extension exhibits at our “Back to School Night”. Their exhibit includes information about their 4H Youth Development Program, a program to assist young people in developing the essential life skills and the positive attitude necessary to lead productive, contributing, and successful lives.

Our community outreach program is designed to:
- Build trust in the quality programs of our charter school.
- Develop and improve relationships between our school and the community.
- Expand the classroom by offering students exposure to business and civic representatives.
- Develop a dialogue among school staff, parents, board members, students, and community members about important local issues.
- Increase the school’s ability to contribute to the well-being of the community.
- Broaden the ability of the community to support, advocate for, and plan quality education.
- Provide students with community mentors.
- Create a better workforce through career awareness experiences for our students.
- Demonstrate and document how schools and communities can work together to achieve common educational goals.
