GCCS encourages community participation in the education of our students and is a member of the Galloway Business Association. Such programs build trust in the quality programs of our school and strengthen the relationships between our school and the community.
The following organizations, events and fundraising opportunities support our overall mission:
- The Atlantic County Library provides book borrowing services for our students. The Book Mobile visits the charter school every other Tuesday.
- TD Bank sponsors our Eighth grade class by purchasing classroom resources, and providing WOW Zone training to our younger grades.
- The Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services presents Project Safe, a program that educates youth about services available to for runaways, abuse victims, or students in crisis.
- Rutgers Cooperative Extension exhibits at our “Back to School Night”. Their exhibit includes information about their 4H Youth Development Program, a program to assist young people in developing the essential life skills and the positive attitude necessary to lead productive, contributing, and successful lives.
- “Kids in the Kitchen” night and a number of other special events at The Ram’s Head Inn
- GCCS hosts a number of annual events that support charitable awareness and education, such as Lee National Denim Day, the St. Jude Hospital Math-a-thon, and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Food Drive

There are a number of ways to support GCCS through your everyday shopping and household product usage. Items you can donate anytime include:
- Box Tops for Education (donate anytime)
- Campbell Product Labels (donate anytime)
- Used Ink & Laser Cartridges (donate anytime)
- Old Cell Phones (donate anytime)
- Tyson Chicken Labels
- Empty, clean juice bags ie. Capri Sun
You can also designate GCCS on certain credit cards and supermarket bonus cards and a percentage of your purchases will be donated to the school:
- Target (On the Target website, click on "Community" at the bottom of the page, then "Taking Charge of Education" and "Designate Your School.” 112733 is our school ID number.)
- Genuardi's (register your card as a GCCS partner at the store or online - 6603983 is the GCCS ID number)
