The GCCS opened in 2000, and moved to our newly constructed location in September 2003. Located at 112 South New York Road, Galloway, NJ 08205, the school is housed in a newly constructed 24,000 square foot facility on a 4.5 acre lot.
The school’s charter authorized a maximum enrollment of 405 students in grades K through 8. The maximum number of students per class is 15. The school draws its students from throughout Atlantic County, although our main priority are Galloway residents.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Galloway Community Charter School (GCCS) is to offer an experience in learning that reaches the zenith of educational achievement. Our program provides a comprehensive, academic curriculum for all students in grades K-8. However, what makes GCCS stand out from other schools is that our focus and resources are on the individual learning needs of each student. We believe all children are special and deserve an individual learning plan, and so we fit our curriculum to meet each student’s needs, not the other way around.
