6.11.2010	NBC40: Kindergarten Graduates Release Symbolic Butterflies Galloway Community Charter School held commencement services for 39 kindergarten graduates Friday morning. After singing songs, the kids were presented with diplomas, and released butterflies to symbolize the students' freedom as they continue onto first grade in September. Watch the video.

4.12.2010	Registration Information The Galloway Community Charter School is accepting Galloway residents' applications starting April 12, 2010! Hurry! Space is limited! Classes fill up quickly! Registration is for students entering K ~ 8 in September, 2010. NON-DISTRICT registration starts July 16, 2010. Click here for more information.
3.31.2010	GCCS Families Raise $530 for Haiti! Staff, students and their families worked together to raise $530 for the Haiti earthquake relief effort. The money was gratefully received by the American Red Cross for the Haitian Relief Fund. Thanks to all who donated. Every dollar makes a difference.
3.24.2010	‘Before and After School’ Program Cancelled Unfortunately, as with many districts, we have to make some difficult choices due to economic conditions. We have done a careful audit of all programs that we offer to determine which are financially feasible. During that review, we found that we could not sustain the level of staffing needed for the Before and After School Program. As a result, we will no longer be able to offer the Before and After School Program. This change will take place starting with the 2010-11 school year. Thank you for your understanding.

5.28.2009	NBC40 Video Coverage: Peacemaker Program: The founder of the School Peacemaker Program (www.schoolpeacemaker.org) is hoping to teach students at the Galloway Charter School to prevent themselves from being bullied and not to bully others through a variety of methods, like drumming. 3.26.2009	Students Celebrate a Mathematical Birthday! 52 students that responded to a mathematical question were treated to a celebration with ice cream cake generously donated by Friendly's Restaurant in Northfield!
